Early this year, I made up my plan. I want to obtain the Private Pilot License. That has been somewhen around Christmas last year. My big objective was to get it somehow done during the year 2006.

Well, After surfing the web, talking to people and making up my mind about so many things, I finally found what I wanted!

There is a great bavarian Flight Instructor who is listed in Arlington, Texas. With him, I made my plans.

... And then came METOP - The mission I was working on.

Delays, postponements etc... Took quite a while, but first things first. And as soon when METOP flies, it’ll be my turn ;-)

Finally - on November 21 I managed to fly to Texas. Have a look at the live blog and enjoy the pictures!
